having a 20 pence piece by the side of your place- to help visualise how small to do the mouthfuls
limit distractions at meal times
don’t leave long gaps in between your meals (it can be harder to slow your eating if you are really hungry)
use a timer
use an app to help e.g bariatric meal timer or eat slower
rest your cutlery on your plate between mouthfuls
use smaller cutlery
