It sure is a bit of a shock to the system and like you say it really is about taking it nice and slow, learning to chew and slow down and heal and recover in the first few months especially.   Bowels do take time to readjust,  have a little read of this article, some tips in there that might help you out a little.

Do you have Facebook..??  we have a FB group Bandboozled Bariatrics – this has plenty of chats going on too for extra support.
