Reply To: Surgery is on Monday. I’m feeling very alone

Hi Louise I hope your op went well! I had a gastric bypass 3 weeks ago today and I’m slowly starting to feel more positive about the whole thing! I felt very emotional before and after the surgery which got easier after the first week adjusting to the smaller portions etc. I also didn’t tell anyone what I was having done and I didn’t even tell work, I have one friend who has also had a gastric bypass around 3 month ago and I ended up telling her so I had someone to talk to about it which really helped.
